Didn't sound like Bill thought the GPL was a good solution to me. "The (c) of power corrupts all who try to use it for good, and rms may have come back purified from his battle with the balrog but we don’t want him to use his staff of power." Can't say I agree with his apocalyptic vision of a GPL'd world. It's a shame he wasn't more detailed about why he thought fighting back with copyright was a good thing.
