Almost every company ever formed has gone bust. I see no reason why Apple won't go bust - eventually. Look at Nokia; one the biggest phone manufacturer, now barely clinging to life. Are more likely explanation is that they'll simply stop supporting a device. The original iPhone no longer receives software updates (so I understand). Would Apple (or any other company) disable your old handset to force you to buy another phone?
