I've now found the battery icon and it indicates empty! When I plug it into the pc I get a lightning flash indicating charging, even when the reader is 'safely removed' but the usb lead not unplugged. However this contradicts the fact that the red light no longer comes on to indicate charging. Just the blue to indicate full charge. Help!
