Hi, just a thought, but regarding the HTML whitespace issue, if you turn line endings 'n' into spaces using a find and replace tool, do things render correctly? I was just wondering, because that would really distract me, and I've spotted tools which find and replace on entire directories (e.g. all the free ebooks). Obviously, the HTML would all be on one line, so it wouldn't be very human-readable afterwards, but would it still render? Providing any HTML was kept somewhere unmodified with the line endings, taking them out before putting the modified file on the ebook reader might be an option perhaps?
