Thanks Terence, this helps. The characters are OK apart from the squares - but these are just unimportant accents (and a dash). The main thing is that the fonts contain the Cyrillic characters. There could be a bit of an issue with the formatting, but I suppose it would be fixable. Thanks for the help and the time spent.
