I'd have instinctively thought it to be a USB 2.0 cable with a 480mpbs speed. What it might be is that it is using the newer USB 3.1 signalling, but only over the single data pair that would be present in a USB 2.0 cable. This would explain why it isn't reporting USB 3.2, as the major difference is the extra conductor pair for an additional transmission channel. That is also what the DisplayPort alternate mode used for video does.
