@Edent TrueBASIC (by Kemeny & Kurtz), PureBasic, Xojo (formerly "REALbasic"), Delphi, Intel FORTRAN are all closed-source. It really is depressing in the BASIC's cases. There's a couple others that aren't so restrictive, but they're prying on noobs who could use a good intro environment.
