Great post - made me think - thanks. I use 1Password, which has built in 2FA support. My simplest mitigation seems to be to store offsite a hardcopy of 1PW’s “emergency kit”. This would get me back into my 1PW account if I lost all else. So that’s what I plan to do. YMMV of course.
