The Flattening™ was a good visual break, but sadly it included the death of UI affordances, and not just in hidden, scrollable areas, but also buttons, lists, etc. I mean it didn’t have to happen but the trend was set that it’s cool to not have any. shkspr.mobi/blog/2021/06/w…
