Check your battery stats with the OnePlus Diagnostic Tool
My OnePlus 5T is 3.5 years old and, after daily abuse, its battery life is starting to fade. But how bad is it?
OnePlus have a diagnostic tool which, annoyingly, isn't available in the Google Play store. And is a bit of a pain to run. So here's a quick tutorial.
Download the app
APK Mirror have a copy of OnePlus Diagnostic 2.1. There may be a later version by the time you read this.
Download and install it. But how do you run it? I couldn't find it in my app list.
Install App Manager
From the F-Droid repository, install App Manager. This will show you all the apps on your phone and all the activities which can be launched.
Open the "Diagnose" app:
Under "Activities" click the "View Battery Status":
That will give you your battery state:
Mine is at 54%, so looks like I need a new battery!
Chris Groves said on twitter.com:
Thanks for the guide, it was a indeed a bit of a faff to get it working. It seems that my OnePlus 7 Pro battery is still 86% healthy. I’ve had it for about 2.5 years so that’s not bad.

What steps have you followed? There is a download link on https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/oneplus-ltd/oneplus-diagnostic/oneplus-diagnostic-2-1-0-release/oneplus-diagnostic-2-1-0-android-apk-download/ - what happens when you click it?

Sir I try to install the app it's say it conflicts with a package that is already on the phonr
@edent says:
Sounds like you already have it installed. You either need to find a way to launch it, or buy a new phone. Or, do as I did, and install Lineage OS.
