I hate when websites make Title a mandatory field. I don't usually use an honorific for myself, and I prefer others don't either. I especially hate when websites make Title a mandatory field but only have a very limited set of options. I'll tolerate Mx if you won't let me have a blank one, but my personal policy if you won't let me have blank OR Mx is that I'll first use my browser debugger to try to add the option I want (you'd be amazed how few forms actually validate the Title field), and if that fails I'm going to pick the most-ludicrous and unlikely option on offer. Which is how, years ago, I received mail to Wing Commander Dan Q, to Abbot Dan Q, and even to Prince Dan Q (Prince!? They thought to add Prince to your dropdown but not Mx: how many princes do they think there are in the world!?)
