I also chose lightwaveRF for this very reason. I have since also gone with Hive for heating and a Harmony hub for AV. I agree it is a workaroubd rather than a solution, Something that has been really annoying me recently is harmony "upgraded" their alexa skill, they even emailed me about it, and now I can't say Alexa turn on TV. Well i can, but it just turns the TV on whereas it used to turn on the freesat box and the AV amp. I now need to to say "turn on freesat" to make that happen. Sigh.
