Will be interesting to see how the Zoe compares... I have a BMW (but the old dinosaur-burning variety) and found my experience with the software to be very different from yours (which is surprising);
ACC - mine doesn't have this, but I've hired one (in Germany) for a fortnight that did and it worked reliably 100% of the time, even trying it at ridiculously high speeds, I was very impressed with it 🙂
Windscreen wipers - agreed, they're terrible. My biggest complaint was not the sensitivity but that the fastest setting simply is not fast enough - https://vimeo.com/109328738
Auto-parking - I didn't spec this option 🙂
The navigation, however, I have found second to none (our other car is a Land Rover, and their system is terrible) but I've also driven Mercedes, Audi, Nissan and Kia in the last year or so and the BMW iDrive navigation knocked spots off all of them... so it's disappointing they got this so wrong on the i3
Bluetooth isn't great, although it's the only car I've found that lets me have two devices paired at once... which I like 🙂
The mobile app is better for the i3 than the normal car, but not only do they both feature some hideous design decisions... they seem to change it every few months and completely redesign parts of the app for no reason (and not usually an improvement!)
The public charging situation is what puts me off an EV, I live in a very remote area and there isn't any. The only EV on the market just now is a Tesla, and I did consider one at one point but realistically I'd need the Model X and in order to buy that I'd need my current income twice.
It's early days for EVs, but when i can get something with the range of a Tesla for the price of an i3 (although expensive) I'll jump at it. Though, if I still lived in the city, I'd probably have an i3 🙂
