I know this is an old thread but here I am in 2023 and still not being offered my size t-shirt, even at women's conferences. I call myself a Unisex XS crusader because every time I have to select unisex small I send an email to whoever is listed as the contact that a unisex small corresponds to a women's medium, and that women are told to size down when ordering unisex. A small women who wears a women's small is not being offered the correct size. The result is that small women either don't get to join in and wear the t-shirt like everyone else, or we feel frumpy and unprofessional in a too-large shirt.
I have a couple unisex XS shirts from conferences and I actually love them! I also sent emails to the two conferences I've gone to that offered XS thanking them. Size inclusivity includes small people. A women's small is a pretty common size and not carrying it is ridiculous. I don't care about the cut, but offering an actual size small for women seems pretty obvious.
