Having been a shareholder for many a year, I know that there's a peak about 3 days before the record date. If my understanding is correct, I won't be getting the dividend - which suits me just fine as a) it's not a huge amount, b) it's wiped out by the drop in share price, c) I needed the money fairly urgently for this solar panel project. But, please, just for a moment, let me live in my bubble!
