VMCRW for Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04

The Evoluent people gave me your link. Although informative, I am not conversant with Ubuntu command lines.

I would be most appreciative if I could have a full set of up-to-date 'idiot-proof commands' for me to slavishly follow.
