Hi Ju, Please read my comments carefully "The next firmware release will also allow you to take notes." So, you can't take notes until you update the firmware released on the 22nd of March. There is no way on the Elonex site to determine the firmware they are offering. I suggest you download and install it to see if it updates your 511EB. T
