This is a necropost - resurrected from a decaying backup DVD. Word wizards Terry Eden, 14, and Nina O'Conner, 12, pictured above, of Fullbrook School, New Haw, have made the London regional finals of the schools scrabble championships, which take place at Westminster School on Saturday (April 23).

Oh, we lost. We lost badly. The Surrey Herald (5th of May 1994, page 3) were slightly more upbeat.

Scan of a newspaper clipping. My Word! Wordsmiths from a school in New Haw came second out of 16 teams in the London regional finals of the schools scrabble championships. Terry Eden, 14, and Nina O'Conner, 12 from Fullbrook School in New Haw, were gallant runners-up at the competition in Westminster School on Saturday.
