Sonnet #64
When I hv Cn by Timez fell h& defaced
d rich-proud cost of outworn buried age,
When sumtime lofty towers I C down-rased,
& brass eternal slave 2 mortal rage.
When I hv Cn d hungry ocean gain
Advantage on d kingdom of d shore,
& d firm soil win of d watery main,
Increasing store wiv loss, & loss wiv store.
When I hv Cn such interchange of State,
/ state it self confounded, 2 decay,
Ruin hath taught me thus 2 ruminate
th@ Time will come & take my luv away.
This thought is as a death which cannot choose
bt weep 2 have, th@ which it fears 2 lose.
