Sonnet #37
As a decrepit father takes delight,
2 C his active child do deeds of Uth,
So I, made lame by 4tunez dearest spite
Take all my com4t of thy worth & truth.
4 whether beauty, birth, / wealth, / wit,
/ ne of these all, / all, / more
Entitled in thy parts, do crowned sit,
I make my luv engrafted 2 this store:
So then I am nt lame, poor, nor despised,
Whilst th@ this shadow doth such substance give,
th@ I in thy abundance am sufficed,
& by a part of all thy glory live:
Look wot is best, th@ best I wish in thee,
This wish I have, then ten times :-) me.
