Sonnet #123
No! Time, thou shalt nt boast th@ I do change,
Thy pyramids built up wiv nuer might
2 me R nothing novel, nothing strange,
They R bt dressings Of a 4mer sight:
r dates R brief, & thr4e we admire,
wot thou dost foist upon us th@ is old,
& rather make them born 2 r desire,
Than think th@ we be4e hv heard them told:
Thy registers & thee I both defy,
nt wond'ring @ d present, nor d past,
4 thy records, & wot we C doth lie,
Made more / less by thy continual haste:
This I do vow & this shl ever be,
I will b true despite thy scythe & thee.
