Sonnet #120

th@ U were once unkind befriends me now,
& 4 th@ sorrow, which I then did feel,
Needs must I under my transgression bow,
Unless my nerves were brass / hammered steel.
4 if U were by my unkindness shaken
As I by Urs, y'have passed a hell of time,
& I a tyrant hv no leisure taken
2 weigh how once I suffered in Ur crime.
O th@ r night of woe might hv remembered
My deepest sense, how hard true sorrow hits,
& soon 2 U, as U 2 me then tendered
d humble salve, which wounded bosoms fits!
bt th@ Ur trespass now becomes a fee,
Mine ransoms Urs, & Urs must ransom me.
