Sonnet #118

Like as 2 make r appetite more keen
wiv eager compounds we r palate urge,
As 2 prevent r maladies unCn,
We sicken 2 shun sickness when we purge.
Even so being full of Ur ne'er-cloying sweetness,
2 bitter sauces did I frame my feeding;
& sick of welfare found a kind of meetness,
2 b diseased ere th@ thr was true needing.
Thus policy in luv t' anticipate
d ills th@ were not, grew 2 faults assured,
& brought 2 medicine a healthful state
Which rank of goodness wud by ill b cured.
bt thence I learn & find d lesson true,
Drugs poison him th@ so feil sick of U.
