Sonnet #100
wr art thou Muse th@ thou 4get'st so long,
2 speak of th@ which gives thee all thy might?
Spend'st thou thy fury on sum worthless song,
Darkening thy power 2 lend base subjects light?
Return 4getful Muse, & str8 redeem,
In gentle numbers time so idly spent,
Sing 2 d ear th@ doth thy lays esteem,
& gives thy pen both skill & argument.
Rise resty Muse, my luvz sweet face survey,
If time hv ne wrinkle graven thr,
If ne, b a satire 2 decay,
& make timez spoils despised everywr.
Give my luv fame faster than Time wastes life,
So thou prevent'st his scythe, & crooked knife.
