As Twitter now have a UK office, I thought I would see what data they hold about me. Thanks to the UK’s Data Protection act, it’s really simple to request the information.
I wasn’t expecting a whole CD’s worth of information – like Facebook provides users – but what I did get surprised me.

UPDATE!
I have reached a settlement with Sky.
Update: 16 March, 2011. They have finally paid up!
tl;dr
Sky News stole my copyrighted work and distributed it without credit or payment.
I asked them to pay £1,500.
They refused.

During the recent O2 brouhaha I recorded a video showing how [...]
The universe had a moment of quantum indecision while I was sat in a doctors’ waiting room.
It flickered randomly between playing nicely and messing with my head.
I tried to collapse the probabilities by uttering a most unusual secular prayer for a man…
Don’t be pretty…. don’t be pretty… don’t be…
“Mr Eden?”

Gobsmacked. This was the first piece of theatre in ages which left me open mouthed throughout. But let me start at the beginning….
I’d only vaguely heard of Howl’s Moving Castle before I saw the Southwark Playhouse’s latest show – although, to judge from the audience, it attracts fanatically devoted readers.
Entering Southwark’s vault [...]
Yes, it’s a marketing slogan, but I think it illustrates the way we think of ourselves.
Each of us is the star of our own show. However empathetic we are, we only see through our eyes.

As many of you know, I worked for Vodafone for nearly 7 years. I left shortly before the “entirely legal and justified tax avoidance” scandal came to light.
I didn’t know anything about the tax issues while I was working there – other than the fact I had some colleagues working in Luxembourg – otherwise [...]
The journalist Shiv Malik took a rather intriguing photo at the recent student protests.
It appears to show a group of police officers gathered around a blue box. No one seems to know what the box is for. I’m sure it’s got a rather prosaic [...]
In my last post, I was talking about generating new cards for the fantastic game “Ex Libris”.
I emailed the manufacturers to see if they had any objections – and to see if they were releasing any updates. With their kind permission, I’m posting their reply in full.
Dear Mr Eden,
We are delighted [...]
Ex libris is a wonderful game. No – better than that – it’s a beautiful game.
Here are the rules:
Everyone has to write the opening line of a novel, based on the novel’s summary. One player has the real opening line to copy down. One other player (the guesser) has to guess [...]
According to faux-influence-measument site, Klout, I was influential on
Verizon Droid Stock Market Hotels
Errr…..? What? If you’re following me on Twitter for any of the above, perhaps you’d like to consider your life choices.
So, I opted-out of Klout.
Their opt-out page is full of feel-good nonsense to try and convince [...]
As I start another gruelling month of blog posts for NaBloPoMo, it strikes me that I’ve had an incredibly busy year.
12 months ago, I was working at IPC Media – doing all sorts of interesting mobile stuff for them. Launching around 28 mobile versions of their existing websites.
I then went and joined [...]
